What Is A Cen Workshop Agreement

1.6 The official launch of the workshop will take place at the launch meeting, subject to sufficient support for the workshop`s project plan. If no agreement is reached, the organization of a new meeting with the candidates will be discussed. European standards contribute to improving security, improving quality, facilitating cross-border trade and strengthening the European internal market. They are developed through a process of cooperation between companies and industry, research institutes, consumer and environmental organisations, trade unions and other designated experts. The NEEc supports international harmonization of standards through technical cooperation agreements with ISO (International Organization for Standardization). 1.8 The Chair decides when an agreement will be reached between the CS participants on the final text of the CWA. . 1.7 SS participants design CWA (s) to the specifications set out in the project plan. The CWA project is made available to CEN/SS participants. To ensure transparency, SS documents should be downloaded to an electronic platform. If the CWA is in the same area as an existing CEN/CENELEC technical body, the CWA project is sent for notice to that technical body, along with the workshop participants. If the project plan provides for this and, in all cases, when the CWA project covers the safety aspects, an open comment phase (at least 60 days) is open. 1.3 The draft project plan and self-assessment are submitted to the CEN technical committee: on the basis of this need and to respond to the urgency of the situation, the CEN has agreed to develop this CWA with an accelerated approach under the direction of AFNOR, the French standards body.

The CWA, published on 17 June, is the result of a joint effort by the workshop members, who have shared their expertise with existing national guidelines to develop a common means of delivery to download for free. The European Standards Committee (CEN) is recognised by the European Union (EU) and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) as one of the European standards bodies responsible for setting standards at European level. These standards contain specifications and procedures for a wide range of materials, processes, products and services. . 1.2 With the help of the member of the CEN-CENELEC or the CEN-CENELEC GESTION CENTRE (CCMC), the applicant for a CWA prepares: in most European countries, Community masks, which often fall outside the scope of the rules on personal protective equipment (EPI) and medical devices, have become a fundamental element of national guidelines for the phasing out of measures. That is why the European Commission has said that there is an urgent need to achieve a harmonised and uniform level of safety for Community coatings. On the basis of this need and in response to the urgency of the situation, the CEN agreed to develop this CWA with an accelerated approach under the leadership of AFNOR, the French standards body.
